Recap: Last week we started sharing the love here at I’m Just Thinkin’. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the goofy nicknames… a girl named “sport”? … J.K. Rowling was a popular good read, and finding peace…
Also, it was the second busiest traffic day for the blog ever!
This week, I’m Thinkin’ it would be fun to learn more about your blog or other artistic gig you would like to promote here… so the dance floor is all yours!
Share a brief pitch for your blog, book, art, band, etc…
along with one other fun word:
I recently started a twitter concept of inspiring with only one word… it’s simply called…
one word … ????
what would your one word be to inspire?
Thank you for sharing here at I’m Just Thinkin’, I really appreciate it!
One word? I’d have to choose breathe.
Good, bad, hard or beautiful, I need to breathe — breathe in every moment — seeking, noticing, absorbing the beauty, for it’s there in that small space, waiting and unique, sometimes loud, sometimes soft and quiet and nearly imperceptible, and sometimes it’s perspective, remembering that this moment, no matter how hard, is fleeting and once gone will never come again. And so I breathe…
That’s what you’ll find at my blog and why I chose it’s name — Breathe Deeply, for I long to see and savor and soak in the beauty surrounding me, to absorb each moment deep in my soul, to know and experience the exquisite mystery of the living God.
thanks for sharing Cindee, I love your blog because it combines very beautiful poetry and photography!

The word has got to be ‘Ekphrasic’- a word for a piece of art/craft (in my case poetry) that is inspired by another piece of art/craft (in my case photography). Until this year I’d never heard the word – so at last I get a genre !!

love it Keith, Ekphrasic is a new one to me!
My word? Don’t even have to think about it: Praise! As Cindee said, “Good, bad, hard or beautiful, I need to…” praise the Lord! As the title of my blog indicates, we are all Heading Home, if we are believers in Christ. With every beat of my heart, I desire to give God glory and encourage others to have a deeper faith walk and love for the Lord.
Thanks, Chris!
Praise, love it! you can find Lynn at “Heading Home” …

thanks Lynn !!
Well shucks, I’d love to self-promote today!
My blog is called “The Whole Dang Thing.” I’m blogging through the Bible with irreverent reverence. I read the Bible one chapter at a time and then write a response to it. Sometimes it is serious, sometimes it is funny.
I just finished reading through Leviticus. only 63 more books to go!
Very cool JBen (in case you’re wondering JBen drinks dcafe 🙂 )
My blog is LifeAsExperienced.com where I share spiritual insights on everyday life. I discuss church, culture, and life.
If I had to pick one word to inspire, it would be “experience” – not in the things that have past sense, but the current sense. Experience life, experience tomorrow, experience everything you can.
Love your writing Seth, thanks for sharing “experience” !!
My word would be shine. Just as the moon reflects the glory of the sun, Christians are to reflect God’s glory. And my blog is Rise, Write, Shine! (http://www.sheilahollinghead.com) I am going to self publish my first book soon. You can check out the trailer on my blog.
Thanks for the opportunity to promote ourselves!
you’re welcome Sheila, Keep Being Great!!
One word is faith–‘cuz if I got faith in Jesus, everything else falls into place.
My blog is fromcarolsquill.blogspot.com. It’s about encouraging other people in their faith by showing how I see Jesus in everything around me.
Thanks Chris – another fun idea!
gotta have faith, great one Carol !!
One word? Hmmm.
How about three? I focus on apologetics, technology, and the outdoors. I’m moving away from some of the outdoors topics, though, in favor of more science-fiction related material. Maybe I should coin a new word here: technoapologetics…?
love it Michael !!
Hey everyone you can find my blog at http://smutoday.ca
I blog about life and the many adventures we all go through. Sometimes I throw out a fun post, like the one how I explain how the Cardinals can win the World Series tonight!
My one inspiring word is: Active
I blog over at http://www.michellewoodman.com. My blog is called This Time Around and I share my stories and thoughts on my faith walk as I do my best not to finish where I start.
My word would be ‘run!’ because sometimes you just have to get moving! 🙂
Chris, these are great! Love all the comments! Another great idea! 🙂
One word: pretentious. Even using the word is, in and of itself, pretentious. I find that humorous.
I blog at http://www.zahndrew.com for creatives who enjoy creativity, humor, and candy.
my one word is snow. because it is snowing here today, on October 29th, and i’m not amused.
speaking of amusing, i try to do that at my blog: bryanallain.com
amzing… and brrrr!!! Thanks Bryan 🙂
Chris,
Thank you for stopping by. Your kind and thoughtful comments are most appreciated. I am glad you enjoyed reading my post. When the topic of harvest was decided this was the first thing I thought about. The Lord planted the seed and I harvested the words and my readers will reap the benefits.
