Sometimes we have to be intentional to focus, or point ourself in the right direction. I wrote about The Elusive Buried Treasure in a previous post… emphasizing the importance of our focus on God and our everyday blessings… and how honestly evaluating what makes you happy (i.e., where is your “buried treasure”) and adjusting your priorities can be key to having a winning day… every day!
When this transformation takes place and you live in the positive more and more good things start to happen. It’s also contagious, rubbing off on the people around you. They see it, and may even ask you what’s up? And there’s your opportunity to receive an even bigger blessing – sharing the Good News to an open ear.
This is all just a matter of focusing on the right things, and living our lives for Him…
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29 : 11-13
He has a pretty awesome plan for a winning everyday!
What do you do to help you focus on the positive in your everyday life?
Great post Chris! It is so true that the “positive” attitude attracts while the “negative” attitude repels. I live trusting in the Lord no matter what the circumstances look like-He is the one in charge, He is the one who changes circumstances and He is the one who does everything for our good. Yes, the Lord has blessed us abundantly and will take care of every need.
Thanks Terrie !!
Yep, Chris–you’re sure right that one positive attitude leads to another both for us and the people around us.
I like to whisper “thank you, Jesus” alot throughout the day and sing praise songs over and over in my head. I suppose the positive thing about that is that folks around me are grateful I’m not singing aloud!
The little things really add up, thank you Carol !!
