The Shack, By Wm. Paul Young, begs the question: Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain? It’s fiction, although the forward clearly states it is based upon the lead character’s account of what actually happened…
It is a sad story about Missy. However, I did find it leaving me wanting to know God better. I enjoyed reading about how the Father, Son and Holy Spirit interacted. And good examples of genuine relationships; good and evil; the past, present and future; love; forgiveness; and this crazy world we live in.
Many people have read it and I would recommend it to everyone who hasn’t.

The Shack never really says this, but that’s what I think it’s all about.
