Whenever I think about the people who are close to me I want to not only try to surround myself with good people, I also strive to bring out the best in others. This, to me, seems to go right along with love your neighbor as yourself.

How do I go about doing this?

Here are some ideas:

Focus on the positive. If you want to radiate a positive vibe to others you’ll have to be in a good place… and that shows up in our attitude, and our spirit. It comes from the core. It’s the smile… the pep in your step… the air about you. Maintaining a positive attitude and it will rub off on the people around you… and you’ll bring out their best.

Be resilient. When life’s bumps and failures come along it can be a drain at times. Be resilient… resolve to rise from the ashes whenever there is a setback. The people around you will see your optimism… it will have an effect on them… and they will help pick you up too!

Be genuine. You can’t be all things to everybody. If you’re going to bring out the best in others one of the most important qualities that you can bring to the table is to just be yourself… just be real. You’ll naturally fall into a groove… one that is comfortable and feels good.

Leave the rest behind. There will always be some that choose not to follow. No biggie. It’s not your job to shoulder the issues of everyone else on this planet. Remember the niens? Keep moving in the positive… let the cards fall where they may… and leave the rest behind.

He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13: 20.

Pay attention to and surround yourself with good people.

Strive to bring out the best in others… and love your neighbor as yourself.

What actions can you think of taking to bring out the best in others?

The post 4 Steps To Bringing Out The Best In Others first appeared on I'm Just Thinkin'.

The post 4 Steps To Bringing Out The Best In Others appeared first on I'm Just Thinkin'.
