Yes, some of that is basic head knowledge. I try to regularly ask: What does it say? What does it say to me? How can I apply it.

Commentaries are fun. And I inherited my pastor-father&#039;s 20-volume &quot;Interpreter&#039;s Bible.&quot; Good exercise--spiritually--as well as just physically lifting the volumes off the shelf!
