Great post, as usual! I love the verses you included. There is so much strife in this world, we're all affected. Isn't it wonderful to know that there is a peace that passes all understanding.

Well said, Chris. I have lived with physical pain since a serious car accident six years ago, and while it's a path I wouldn't have chosen, I wouldn't now go back and change a thing. It prepared me to walk beside myy 16 year old son, struggling with long-term GI and liver diseases. Sam recently said, "I wouldn't have wanted not to get sick, because it really made me rely on God. I couldn't control the situation at all, so I had to learn to rely on Him." Perspective. Trust. Faith. Dependence of God. Such incredible blessings wrapped in surprising and unexpected packages. God is good. What a blessing to live cradled in the palm of His Hand!
