Like Carol, my heart’s turning toward sharing with others also. Not that I haven’t in the past, but I’ve noticed that so many “assume” (just like they do with those star athletes) to know the hearts of those who stand out different from us, you know, because of the hoopla they see on the outside. But God sees their hearts.

Oh, you made me belly laugh with the “HA=Humbled Athlete.” Too funny.

I watched the game on my computer but could not bear even a minute of the halftime “show”.

I see the same problem with not only athletes, but anyone that is very well known, even mega-pastors. We don’t really know them at all. There is definitely responsibility that comes with influence, and more is definitely required from those that have much (exposure).

I think writing is my way to influence culture although I confess that I still write mainly for the Christian culture. Thanks to your post, I am reminded that perhaps it’s time to share the Gospel through my writing to nonbelievers also.

Even though my team wasn’t victorious Sunday, they gave it a really good shot in the second half. Last year playoff competitors; this year super bowl competitors. Next year, they get those flashy rings! The dynasty returns…
