Somehow we modern folk think of fire as bad but God uses fire to refine and He appeared as a burning bush and a pillar of fire in the desert, so it’s all good.

Your whole fire discussion makes me think of using scented wood and how it–like our prayers–rise to heaven like incense. Cool that!
