					<description><![CDATA[Talk about appreciating the simple things in life. I think we all like to claim that we take time out to do this, but this man is walking the talk regardless of how he got there. I think you&#039;re both lucky to have met that day, but I suspect that that was God&#039;s doing, and I have no doubt that you both walked away more enlightened by the other&#039;s experiences. 

I realize that this particular subject (health), touches me to the core, but even I was happy for the reminder to make sure I&#039;m thankful for the simplest of things, like a warm shower in my own home. It also goes to show us that no matter what trials we are facing, someone else always has a tougher road so we should keep the faith and not wallow in pity - it&#039;s a waste of time.

For today, I&#039;m grateful for hope.
