Carol, I’ve been to jail so I would definitely believe the stabbing story too. I do have a great deal of respect for our police officers who serve our communities, tough job, so hats off to your father-in-law. I was surprised when researching gullibility how little was written about it.

I’m gullible, too. I was married for 32 years before I learned that the scar on my father-in-law’s belly was from a gall bladder surgery and NOT from an inmate stabbing him while he was a sherriff’s deputy. Did I mention it was 32 years later???
