So I was looking at this brick wall too and thought about how the shrubs are overgrown. That made me think about how we lose in life when we don’t tackle the brick wall… the horizon just fades away through the thicket…

It symbolizes what we can do when we’re faced with fear–maybe don’t focus on the solid part of the fear, but find ways we can peek through and see the loveliness on the other side.

My big fear is marketing my writing. The only way through it is to do it. And today I especially needed this reminder, Chris. Thanks for that.

This is such a great and thoughtful post.
You’ve got me thinking… Whenever I’m faced with a “wall” I remember who I am; I’m created in the image of God, which means I have the power (free will) to create anything I choose to create (and automatically do so with my thoughts and my words. My steps are: 1. Ask, 2. Believe and Feel the outcome, 3. Shift any limiting (brick wall) thoughts into positive ( what I want) thoughts. And most importantly, doing all of the above with gratitude! ☺
