I think one of the decisions I make that adversely affects my heart is when I take shortcuts in my time with Jesus. He’s always there; always so patient with me. Sometimes I just say a quick “thank you, Jesus” and am off to something else. Although it’s from the heart, my heart would be better filled if I spent longer quiet moments with Jesus.

This has helped me recognize satan trying to operate in my life and has enabled me to turn quickly to God for help.
