Great post, Chris. Very thought provoking.

I think one of the decisions I make that adversely affects my heart is when I take shortcuts in my time with Jesus. He's always there; always so patient with me. Sometimes I just say a quick "thank you, Jesus" and am off to something else. Although it's from the heart, my heart would be better filled if I spent longer quiet moments with Jesus.

I think knowing our weaknesses (and strengths) is so important because satan will take them and distort them in many ways to keep us from walking close to God.

This has helped me recognize satan trying to operate in my life and has enabled me to turn quickly to God for help.
